Basalt is one of the most easily obtainable blocks in the game, as it can be found in the form of Basalt Mountains, which spawn at higher elevations. It is the fourth rock layer, located below Limestone and above Andesite.
Basalt is a rather straightforward block, as far as appearances are concerned. It is predominantly gray, with tiny lighter gray specks throughout the block.

- Traditionally, it's used for basic building needs, as well as creating the furnace, which is used with the skill of cooking and smelting.

How to Obtain[]
- Basalt is mainly found at 730 to 945 depth.
- It can also be found at Basalt Mountains, which generate from up to depth 68.
- It can be bought at the Block Shop ( Stone Tab) for 24, and can be sold for 20
